Annual Vanden Brink Christmas Album!

Well, here it comes, the annual Vanden Brink Family Christmas Album. With lots of hard work, and large sacrifices of sleep and time, it is finally completed, and ready for production!

My own Music Studio!!!

with lots of planning and lots of help from my family (especially Chris), I have finally opened Amy's Music studio to an amazing 28 students!!!!!!!! For awhile it seemed like I might not make it even close to my goal of 36 students, but along the way, it all came together. with a few last minute surprises, i finally started teaching last Thursday. Here are a few pictures of my studio, which is above the chiropractic clinic that I work at during the week.

New Camera Fun!

I am having an awesome time getting familiarized with my new Canon Digital Rebel XT, and it's two lenses!!

Of course the first thing that i did when i got home was take some self portraits in the mirror! i am soooo pleased with the way the camera responds. WAAAAYY better than my Lumix P&S.

finally some time to spend working in my new scrapbooking space. i am really excited about my table now that it is counter level, and my new stool is also pretty neat. here is a picture of how it all turned out for now

and today i finally found time to fill the frame on the shelf above my table. i'm pretty pleased with it right now, but who knows how long it will stay the same!

finally a post

since i am new to the world of blogging, i thought i would just start out with a quick hello and introduction of myself. as evident by the title of this blog, i am amy jo. in addition to that i am a scrapbooker, photographer, musician, teacher and most importantly wife! my husband doesnt mind all the other hobbies as long as i remember to take care of him once and awhile.

the two of us love to do fun things together, and have alot of wonderful memories of crazy things we've done together. chris loves music {playing music together and listening to others play} and also is a crazy sports fan {hockey mostly, but also CFL} a part of him that we both enjoyed last night at the Eskimos game, where the Esks beat the Lions 17-12!

well, more later, for now i'm off to sleep for the morning comes quickly.
